I’d like to guess that it kept stalling, maybe that it’s a bit tail heavy with that pitch sensitivity and it stalled repeatedly going past critical aoa.. maybe it was the extra throw unlocked? Let that tail rise at least and work the rudder before applying back pressure. Food for thought, I’m no pro

@@Twissted-RC After I got home and rewatched the video, I drew a pretty similar conclusion! I feel like it might be a combination of not only being a little underpowered, but also applying a little *too* much elevator at such a slow speed... I guess after we solved the first problem of not having enough elevator, we got the opposite problem, and with the plane barely getting off of the ground in the first place, all of the holes in the swiss cheese just kind of lined up 🤣

@@Diygary aye! Mentor pilot fan lol. I don’t like the idea of being underpowered even though it’s more scale. I prefer the thrust to get out of any situation but that’s me. Well good luck on the next attempt

The plan is to put a bigger engine on it, in addition to a bigger prop. Haven't gotten around to it yet! I barely just picked up the new engine mount. Once I get it installed, I'll take it back out to the field, I'm expecting that I'll be able to fly it, and hopefully make a good video out of it!
