I race a super late model and watching dirt track videos some how landed me here watching RC dirt racing and I gotta say no way I could do it I would be dizzy in the first five laps and wreck the whole field 😂😂

My dad and I used to race at an RC track in Winchester that was at or near a college campus? Are these the same organizers? It was also very close to the full scale Winchester dirt track.

Y'all should make the trip down to Fountain Inn Rc complex in Fountain Inn SC on September 25-26 for the street stock championship. Over 2,000 dollar total purse for Traxxas Slash street stock. It'll be a great race to see.

This is a great speedway except for one thing. The oval is 10 feet too short. The racing would be even better if you lengthened it.

Ten feet would make that big of difference? No it wouldn't even if there was room to lengthen the track. The racing is always great there. And this is bigger than what it was originally.

I never raced there I'm just going from what I can see from the video. Straightaways look to me like they could stand to be a little longer. It would be more fun to drive. This track looks to be almost a circle, but that's a lot better than no track at all like where I live. Our local tracks shut down years ago. So sad.

You can almost run it as a circle with a rear steer car. Some classes can go under 4 seconds a lap. That is intense for five minutes you have to remind yourself to blink. The track in this configuration is really easy on equipment too with the walls in the turns being so far out.

So is the 13.5 class a stock slash with any 13.5 motor?

Depending on your track some are strictly Salvas rules, others are a bit loose.

@@FromthePits hmm. In ok we don't run salvas. We run sc mod. It's mostly erc, bbe, crazy daves type carbon chassis. Adjustable rear arms open motor open tire. Were running up to 45 laps in a 4 minute race on a 40 foot banked track. We fly.
