I think you missed the whole concept of Godzilla. This isn't a simple brag rap song. He's talking about how he feels/acts and what happens when he got drunk. The monster is a drunk Eminem. He tells us all the context we need to know at the beginning of the song "I can swallow a bottle of alcohol and I'll feel like Godzilla" talking about how your mouth burns when you drink alcohol "hit the deck like a card dealer" is him getting punched in the face or blacking out from the alcohol. When he says he's a monster it's all about his behavior when he was drunk.

Very accurate review in that em has many good lines, but that there are filler bars that he should CLEARLY know are not at the same caliber as the others. And it really does take away from the build of the song. I feel the same not just within individual songs, but his last few albums as well. With MTBMB you get great songs like Premonition, You Gon Learn, Darkness, Lock it up, No Regrets, and especially I Will (total TES vibe for me) but terrible tracks that NEED to be cut, for example Those Kinda Nights, In Too Deep, Farewell (not as bad but still lower tier). It doesn’t bother me that much since I just make an edited version of the album with the songs I do want to listen to but I feel like if he did have better quality control, he would be viewed so much more positively as critics will always point to the lowest point on his albums as representative of his current skill. When Em is good, he’s great, the GOAT imo. But when he tries to appease his pop fans, it just doesn’t work well for me (with a few exceptions)

I think the Chris D'Elia reference was him being super self aware about what exactly he was doing in the end of the song. He knew that style of rap is exactly what people knew for.

Blood on the dance floor is an emo band, the fact that I know this hurts me inside, but I’ve also never heard that phrase being used without it being a reference to the band. Given that the song and chorus are about “monsters” and the bands lead singer has a reputation for going after under age girls, it’s probably supposed to be a reference to that. Or I’m just tripping because of all the other random references to people Em made in this video. But that’s the first thing I thought when I heard/saw that line.

CHRIS DELIA IS NOT A KZbin COMEDIAN, he’s a genuine comedian with a new special out on the 14th and he has a podcast

But his primary platform is the internet, and mostly KZbin. He came up because of the internet and stayed there. It's not an unfair statement

It's really funny to se how people compare Eminem just against himself, from 99, 2000, 2002... To me his the GOAT. Great video. ☺️

Took me to the end to realise you'd reversed the video. With the drunkeness Em's doing it looked pretty cool that way.

The LV line isn't about designer carpets , but a reference to the red carpet and LV "red bottoms". How did RC not realise that?

Why are your reviews always a little negative? I mean damn, at least Todd in the Shadows is actually entertaining when he reviews a song he doesn't like.
