The lucid dream line always played off to me as a metaphor. He feels like he's in a surreal situation where he should have control but doesn't. Side Note; The only requirement for lucid dreaming is that you are lucid, e.i. aware you are dreaming, and it is possible to not be able to control things in that situation. I figured out lucid dreams when I was like 5 when inspired by Nightmare On Elm St. 3 Dream Warriors, because I was having night terrors about weird abandonment issues. Controlling your dreams is pretty easy with a little practice. First you have to be aware of the sensations of dreams and be able to pick up the inaccuracies that are rampant in dreams. Counting to 3 or 5 is very helpful as well. I was a horror movie fan as a little kid so I would use the techniques to populate my dreams with monsters and sometimes watch the dreams like a movie while another version of myself would be in these weird and shifting creature feature horror movies. Especially with the line _I won't let you forget me_ that describes a sickly obsession that can turn guys like that into stalkers and violent perpetrators. Being unable to move is called SLEEP PARALYSIS! I don't understand why that is so hard for you to get. Did you even read the link supplied?

@Chance Well, if you know the difference, then why couldn't you tell from the next line _Thinking of you in my bed_ means he is actually awake or not actually sleeping because he is CONSCIOUSLY thinking about her? It seems you are too desperate to justify that one vague line that barely resembles such a complex thing as lucid dreaming.
