Thanks for the reply! I will definitely run hardened pinion/spur. Trying to decide between the 800kv or 1100 kv and the proline mashers vs the dboots backflips. Want the diffs/drivetrain to hold up. Any opinion on these options? Thanks again

So we did shred the stock pinion but they are cheap and simple. As for bearings, we blow a few out bombing big jumps. Stock tires go quick if you like to go fast. Wheels crack too for that matter but it is my top 3 fav!

I came to post this too haha. 800kv is nice for sure but its heavier and easier to gear the 1100kv as well. I bet it runs cooler than the 1100 though.

Even the 1100 is almost to much. Hard to keep front end down. You can change center diff fluids change punch and throttle settings. The new 1275kv is probably the way to go. The higher the kv the higher the rpm. The higher the rpm the better for air control. I'm just use to the xo-1 speeds so I like the front tires down and accelerating super fast. Like a rocket. It's all good though. You got the wrong spot, but the other car to get that's different than this but super fast is the losi super Baja Rey. Scale driving is a lot of fun. Its suspension is so plush. My favorite cars I drive most are the xrt, dbxle and super Baja Rey You are all set there with the xrt, but seriously think about an Asuga. It floats bike a butterfly. With that big field I'd be wanting a high speed set up. Like 70+ mph at least. The xrt kicks ass and no need for anything else but sledge would be awesome there. I like the big cars though. Watch a bashing Asuga video. The thing is pretty cool. That dang super Baja Rey is awesome.
