I ran a max5 esc in my scx6…smaller can tho…. Absolute beast on 6s ….never taxed the esc at all… I eventually took the max5 out and used a monster mamba X with a castle 1717 -1650kv…..just performed better all around on 6s …. Used the max5 for another project … I think the max5 is perfect for the 1/5 scale rigs…

Yeah its been amazing in the xmaxx, 10s and 12s is all I run it on. But its got upgraded hardened diffs and mod1.5 pinion/spur. If not itll blow the diffs and monster threw pinion/spur's. But with the upgrades its been bashed super duper hard for a long time and they have held up flawlessly.

12S in an X-MAXX? You'll put your eye out! 😂😂😂😂 8S is almost overkill on the X-MAXX since they are so light. I just put a fancy wrap on mine but haven't run it. So, I'm definitely not speaking from experience. I just subscribed to your channel.

Hi New sub here I just bought this whole system for my XMAXX I have 25/30 1.5 mod gearing and I burned up my first max 5 but the esc was used kinda smelled burnt out of the box and I paired it with a 5687 11kv HW motor got 3 runs out of it so I bought this same system how do you like it?

I have two of these g2 800kv 250amp systems, they are the best combos I've never had, I have beat the crap outta them both. To see a hobby wing go out is rare, I'd say it was a fluke.

No sir apparently "yes question".... I've ran the snot out of this rig, even in the burning heat. Nothing heats up. All bullets, batteries, motor, esc perfectly fine!!! I assuming you dont hvae this motor or ESC. Well I have two of them and you are wrong, no QS8 needed.
