This is really interesting. It would be perfect if you could do tutorial how to draw a boat starting with basics with voiceover explanation of steps.

I thought about the next parts for this boat first... Like the proper keel system and so on... I have build the mast and need to finish some personal stuff to get back to the boat

@@carbonarne675 That would be great fun! I love your work! I built keel supports for Australia II today, and made a new rudder with John Swarbrick design to Kookaburra III. I hope to sail a miniRival tomorrow. Looking forward to sailing with you! Cheers Lars

WoW!! Great video mate! So this hull without glue, fittings etc would only use approx 1.6 KG of Filament if I used ABS? - Jim -Australia *Subbed*
@carbonarne6759 ай бұрын
I think it easy can be build with less than 1.4 kg of filament
@carbonarne6759 ай бұрын
But and there's the hook. That's why I have taken it offline: volume is really tight. You have to save wheight really co distant and the total boat needs to be at less than 7 kg with 5 kg lead
@Mikeoats138 Жыл бұрын
why would you add t-foils to the rudder? the horizontal C-Foil on the real hull is made for lift, not to foil out of the water

That's a question I a willing to answer for you. Let me do a video about the physics I plan to run on this boat. Would that be ok for you? I want to go into detail and it might help the people who can not read my answer to this comment.

Can anyone recommend a User Friendly, Self leveling printer for a newbie ...I've been meaning to get into this for years, Im nearly 60 years old and love my RC Sailing and I'd love to try and make my own. My budget is around US$450. Thank you!
@carbonarne6759 ай бұрын
Go used, and go on Facebook to see what everyone is using, I used a artillery sidewinder X1 for that. Leveling is simple and easy to get into printing. There are plenty of options. This boat is not beginner friendly and can not be build with this budget but there are plenty of projects out there to print. One last advice: start with a project you don't like but many people recommend. Also go with a simple printer that's commonly used. We all can really recommend all bambu lab printers but they are a bit on the pricy side. Therefore much more simple to use and a great experience. Look into my othe videos and also the video discretion to find more information and wellcome
