I like to just sit on their tail and bully them into a mistake. It takes the mental pressure off as well, you only goal is to stay within inches, not find a gap. Just got to be careful that they don't take you out as well.

@@RRLRC Ok awesome, Just trying to figure things out, just got into rc. And wondering what is bashing rc cars vs racing rc cars, we just bought some traxxas rustlers thinking about getting the slash because we already have traxxas stuff

Welcome to the hobby! Bashing means taking your RC car to a field or track just to drive around. Racing means taking part in actual organized races. Traxxas is a great brand to start out with as it can “bash” and, when modified properly, can “race” too. Many racers in our backyard racing league started out with the Traxxas Slash 👍
