You got that right! The only thing what would have made it better would be if they had a small pool of water for the model to draw water out of with that snorkel and then drop it, but it was very impressive as is!

You know, you folks post up videos of some very impressive scale models and it's a true pleasure to get to watch them. You have such a magnificent flying site to boot but I have to say, this model has set an entirely new standard in scale details and realism. Much of that realism was due to how well it was flown. It's rare to see a scale RC model of any type that's flown so realistically. If we didn't know it was an RC model, we would never have known that it was an RC model. Very impressive indeed.

Met a guy out here, only 28 years old, that flies the real thing in southern California. No military, put himself through flight training. It cost him a small fortune, but what a cool way to make a living. CALFIRE in summer, utility company in winter. These models are amazing.

I was in the last skycrane unit (273rd) before the army turned the CH-54 (B model)s over to the national guard units. The national guard retired them and were sold to the civilian market. Great job on the crane (B model)!!!!! Sure brings back memories.

Cool helicopter but does it actually pick up water or is it just show only?? If it really does pick up and distribute water I would love to see that. I have been watching other fire fighting rc vehicles that really work and it's been so cool.

Having been around these magnificent machines up close (Alaska Air Guard) I can say with confidence, that this is one Bad-Ass model! The attention to detail is amazing, not to mention the actual working snorkel, scoop, and the dropping of water!!! It doesn't get any more realistic than that. I don't know what Country you are in (Italy by the markings, but maybe you just used those and live elsewhere), but what ever your language is, please have this translated....Fucking Awesome!!!! You sir are "THE MAN"...my hero! P.S. You should forward this video to Erickson.
