I e been modeling since the early 1980’s I’ve never seen so much, detail, and the realistic look to an aircraft.Even the professional’s back then couldn’t do this. It also helped that there are more technological advantages.

I'm Extremely J E A L O U S !!!! ( and you posted this 7 days ago ) I have a Skycrane, but in 1/72 and I ALWAYS wanted to build it out as a 'Erickson' fire-fighting machine!!! But I don't know how to build that tank and I do not have the ability to 3D print.... AND I Want to build one....for those Many men and women that saved us here in the Southern California area for > ten (10) years ..... and sadly beyond... BUT YOUR work is SUPERIOR and having the ability to 3D print is excellent!! Ich bin extrem eifersüchtig!!!! Beautiful! It's amazing to me how you can be consistent on the left and right. For example the two engines are identical in their color appearance. I guess that's a minor thing but it seems it would be very hard to achieve. Great work.

AMAZING scratch building skills and wonderful weathering effects. I can't believe though that you didn't pay attention to the silvering of the decals, a problem VERY easy to address with a simple glossy clear coat before its placement... Anyway, congrats and thanks for a very entertaining video. That Skycrane is a BEAST!

Absolutely. The word “stunning” has been cheapened by overuse lately but Thomas’ job on this bird qualifies as stunning. The beauty shots at the end keep revealing more layers of detail, more and more places to be absorbed in the beautiful trees that almost make me forget the beautiful forest that they make up. I’d like a better look into the cockpit that he put so much work into. Maybe we will see more of them in the diorama. Which reminds me, I’m a little scared thinking how large the diorama is going to be!
