Great session bro!! No suprises on this one as far as I'm concerned ...... Top force Evo looked right at home as to be expected! I've not got any experience with the dt03,but i know how capable it is after seeing Peter Smiths one clench the top spot in our tescos time trials series!! As for the cougar......do you remember me saying to you a year ago about how everyone has one nemesis car in their fleet? When you sorted the diff and had high hopes for it i said i was sceptical!!! Unfortunately,cars like this just fight us all the way mate . Mine is my Fazer,i love it,but its been cursed since day one,nothing but problems. I love the Cougar,but trust me .....its cursed buddy.....i speak from experience!😅 Fun video Craig,and its great seeing the bond you have developing with the mighty Evo. But,theres another iconic 4wd vintage Tamiya kit that i know you already have in your possession waiting to be built,sincerely hope we will be seeing that one make an appearance on the OR in 2025!!! (im sure you know what gem I'm referring to.....) Vintage all the way matey! 😉 👍 👍 👍

Hey James, thanks for watching mate! The Evo has sunk its claws into me and I love driving it. In this particular round it wasn’t flowing but the potential is there. The DT03 is a remarkable entry into RC and the TT02B is similar. We should all do more to promote these models for Tamiya to step up and give us some lovely new budget entry buggies with great performance. Now the Cougar…. I remember you saying that and it really is my nemesis. However, I will not be beaten as there is a race car in there which when unleashed I think will be on par with the Evo. There is always next season. I know which buggy you refer to and it might not be 2025 dude. 2024 saw two amazing 4wd models hit the Orchard and 2025 will see the Falcon and the Raider getting some love. I have a number of hop ups and tweaks to some of the fleet ready for another round in 2025. The track is staying as is for next season so the times from this year will roll forward which gives some great comparisons I hope. We lose another finalist next week and find out who comes in bronze medal on the OR… and who will be the final two for 24!!!

Fair play for not giving up with the Cougar anyway mate...... Ive not 'yet' given up with my nemesis the Fazer, and have a new chassis for it arriving from Germany next week (after having steering issues,bearing issues,prop shaft issues,motor issues ,esc issues,switch issues,tyre issues ......the list goes on!)😂 The Falcon and Raider plans sound cool,and it's probably a good call to keep the track the same next year for comparison purposes. I was having a bad start to the finale with all models. I was warming up Fil but it cost the Cougar! I filmed some more laps with her and it didn’t get any better either 😁

Great stuff Craig! I know what you mean about finding it hard to get back in the groove when you fall out of it!!! But you were in the groove with the DT03, it held up amazingly well against the other cars! For a kit that costs less than £100 it's pretty amazing! But the best car won this round methinks! It's gonna take a lot to beat the Evo! Bring it on, dude! 😎👊👍

Hey Mark! Time trials is always about consistency and the more consistent you can drive the faster you can get. I was having an off run when I started the filming for this Finale BUT I promise you we get there in the end dude 🔥 The DT03 is marvellous given the cost of the kit and so is the TT02B for that matter. I know they won’t keep up with modern race buggies but they certainly do a great job on the Orchard! Round two is a beauty bud 😁

I hate to say it but I am not surprised the Cougar was the worst. Obviously I still am not a fan of it LOL! Seemed like a rough day for all but it is shaking things up a bit and making it more interesting to see who is going to rise to the top!

Hey Jay, they came off a limited edition TT02B! Mini OaG swapped them for the standard orange ones as she wanted them for her metallic pink TT02B. It was a good swap as both cars look boss 😎

Its a fix, a fix i tell you. The cougar should be allowed to run again, no rear wing, crashes, steering issue’s oooh i sound like a race car driver 😂 the cougar has a lot more to give. I may have to come down and prove it 🤔

It just lives to fight another day Richard!! One day it is going to get its claws out and dominate the Orchard!! This car has had so many issues but I can absolutely see the potential. The qualifying round it was unbelievable and I think next season it’ll be back dude 🙌🏻

@@theoagrc dam right it will be back, and i’ll be cheering it on 😁 as of next year im back to team schumacher after my year away from them. But has been great running all the other cars. Most have been moved on and are missed a lot. But i am a schumacher fan boy after all lol

@@theoagrc there are rumours of something coming at xmas 🤔 but the procat is a great buggy, pro trans isnt needed if your not pushing lots of power 👍
