RC Unboxing: HPI Bullet ST Flux 2014/2015

Hi all this is a video un-boxing of the latest edition of the HPI Bullet ST Flux, as you can see there some obviously and needed changes to the line since its original release, this is not my personal car so it wont be punished in the same way my cars are but there will be running videos of it soon. Hahaha yeah, you're covered :p I own an Axial Wraith, Axial is owned by Hot Bodies wich also owns HPI Racing so I guess I'm also part of the family lollll

I got one and it has the hop ups and armma motor and ESC went with CVD front and rear motor and ESC sucked always over heated called hoi they gave me flack about it so went with the arrma system but I do love it with all its up grades

Scott collins Hi there bud thank you for commenting was it this generation of bullet that you were having issues with? or was is the earlier versions as far this version has been working great, nice to hear that you enjoy your car though as so does my mate who owns it :)

Yes had to replace that also he will have issues with steering hubs and steering knuckle he might when he break them go with the aluminum upgrades that what I did makes it even more bullet proof lol

Scott collins Yeah i have heard of such problems also the servo seems to be a little under-powered for the car but we will see what happens in the future will keep you guys updated :)

I've always wanted this rig but I heard the electronics were crap. Now that they're updated, I might have to pick one up. The controller thing is a little odd. I got that same controller, when I expected to get the crappy small one.

Thanks for stopping by, yeah the new electronics seem to be a lot better than before runs cool on 2s havnt tried 3s and it has decent speed out of the box. As for the controller thing it is a little odd and also the misleading box art but hey ho the car seems to be good so far :)

Well my car is almost 3 Yeats old so I would say the older version your friend should like it if they fixed the issues

Hi bud thanks for commenting and 3 years? Must be a pretty good rc excluding the old electronics, my friend has enjoyed his greatly so far only weak point seems to be the stock body shell %)

What are the dimensions of the battery tray mate? What batteries do you recommend. Im new to rc hobby.

The battery tray is slightly larger than a standard size 2s hardcase battery pack so it's a small tray, sorry I can't give exact dime signs as I don't the car with me :)

jamiesmagic I'd say to stay with a 2s lipo battery and gear appropriately
