Does it being an end Game PVE mean that as a new player (around 3 months in) I should focus on other content? I don't think I have the gears nor the units for it but could definitely spend bookmarks for Haste (I don't have Surin). I use Ceci (skills off), Mazel (Rod), Dingo (Candlestick), Surin (Torn Sleeve). Def breaks from Ceci, Surin debuffs and Dingo ensures that debuffs and heals are always available from Surin and Mazel - Torn Sleeve is there for ensurance. Works quite well for me.

I have neither Surin nor Haste built, and Grace of Growth takes 2 more days to recycle. So I've gotten Fire Khawana in and she does an okay job. Along with Cecilia for defense breaks and Carmainerose for damage. Main thing I don't like about this event is they built it around stuff that people don't have built and don't like.. bleeds and 15%'s. But new content is new content, as you said. Edit: Turns out, and un-molad, not-fully awakened, bad-gear Surin kinda works better than a +12 kitted out Khawana. Oh well.

I love the pet system.... btw if you use the tickets and get a bad skill don't just transmit the pet, instead you can upgrade the pets to 2, 3 and 4 star with random skills to roll again for an S skill also you can use the stones to level up and do 100% chance every time, if you still fail to get an S, transmitting them at 4 star gives you 90% of all the stones back

You also gotta be careful if you care about the pet stones. Enhancing them to 2* only makes you lose 1 stone if you end up transmitting the pet, but at 3* you already lose 5 stones per pet. So it highly depends on how well you are stocked up on pets and pet stones. I would personally prioritise Hunt, AP and Lobby pets before hardcore comitting to a rift pet

Problem with the game mode is simple. You don’t get anything for losing. So you can’t build up your characters overtime to actually win. Sure winning may cost a lot of Stamina but in order for it cost anything or any of the mood to be useable you have to win first. If you can’t clear the game mode does not matter at all.

Hey Tristan. I had a guy who seemed to have looked into the math of Rift say rift is actually better for reforge mat accumulation, but I always thought conventional knowledge of hunt vs rift was that hunts were better for reforge mats and I heard you on last nights stream say you needed to start doing hunts again for reforge. Is rift better for reforge mats but hunt lets you farm specfic reforge or is hunt just better overall?

Was thinking immunity is one of the best sets since it's the only set PvP wants from Aziminak, and you need a lot of varied pieces And Roy frontline doesn't benefit from the front line augment later

Charms because you always need to roll gear and Nevk and Ring are always lacking. You are only going to reforge mostly good gear, but you can’t get to that point if you don’t have Gear built.

They really need to reduce the energy cost. That and I hate the pet system too. A simple thing is to select a pet skill you want and only have pets of variety of grades of said skill

Because the boss will at minimum have an innate 15% chance to resist your debuffs anyway, so any effectiveness over 105 is therefore wasted stats (because the boss will have the same chance of resisting (15%) whether you're at 105, 120 or 350 effectiveness).

she is a much MUCH worse option. She barely heals on her S1 (unless you manual and burn) Her transform wastes a turn You have to wait several rounds for her attack buff Dual attacks are turned off Hazel gives Attack to all units, GAB to 1 units, Gives a passive 10% attack, Gives extra healing, Gives it all turn 1, even gives 10% effectiveness AOE. Tam can work, I have seen it. She is the 2nd best option, but M.Hazel leaves her in the dust.

Tristen my boy! On the Epic Seven stream, Mashuu recommended this team: Achates, Tamarinne, Ilynav and Ravi Frontline. Straight up PVP/PVE builds, absolutely consistent and 98%+ success rate. I'm leaving this comment bc this is the team I'm using and it's been helping me a lot, hope it can help other people too!

My only disappointments with Rift is the inclusion of 15%, and how they basically tailor made Kane to be used in them. Kane's design is so sick, but he's just PVE fodder for the next 6 months, and then what happens after this Rift is over? Golem delegated unit? No thank you, I'll just be using Sol for that. What a wasted design...
