Jinjer defies genres they are simply Jinjer. The mv has been explained by the band. The mv is about how Jinjer writes their songs and tension it causes. The guys write all the music and then pass it to Tatiana to write the vocals. Tatiana is an introvert and a procrastinator. The guys have to bug and harass her to get the lyrics done. In the video she is hiding out at home doing her art(lyrics). The guys are chasing her and confront her at home. She spits angry words at them (bullets). They refuse to leave alone until she gives them her art (throwing sand art) and then they disappear. This sounds like they hate each other but this band is so tightly knitted together it is awesome to behold. They are also super open to how the band works and their feelings. If you want to really start to understand them more the did a Jinjer Audiotree From Nothing video that combines an interview and them performing live. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rHPMgqyDaK5nZtEsi=eUazaD4wpzu00Pc_

I have been into music for a long time myself, as a musician & music lover, I have been listening to music in many different musical genres for over 50 years, but I got to know and love the "Jinjer Genre" 8 years ago..... thanx für your authentic reaction and lovely greetings from the german musician

Good guess about grange. Although it's wouldn't be correct to mark Jinjer's music as grange, band members mentioned that this album (Wallflowers) was influenced by some grange bands (especially Alice In Chains).

@@rc1reactions906 The most obviously grunge-influenced / AIC-influenced song would have to be "Disclosure".
