That cars obviously had a hard life! You have got your work cut out there mate! Great to see another vintage getting saved /given a new lease of life. Man, I bet there were some choice words used in the removal of some of that hardware! That stuff was crunchy! I am glad you got it all apart with ruining any of the car parts, hardware is much easier and cheaper to replace! Looking forward to the next episode and where it goes from here!

So very rusty! Was shocked to be honest. That last rear screw actually welded itself into the carbon. On the up side of the rebuild now. Coming along good. Appreciate it as usual my friend.

I love it! I know as a restoration the peroxide bath is tempting, but for a runner, if it were my RC, i would keep the beautiful patina :) Definitely keep doing it your way though, I would love to see what a peroxide bath could do as well. Got half of my backyard RC track built with a tiller and a hoe... dang thats a lot of work! lol still a lot of fun throwing the grasshopper and midnight pumpkin around it to test it out as it goes

Peroxide and UV light is pretty Amazing at getting those white again.

3:24 Brand new here to your channel. Do you have a decent TIG welder? That would make easy work of the motor mount.
