Great video mate! This kit looks really cool, and no - you are not strange sniffing the tyres, have you seen Simon Webb's videos? He almost gets high sniffing Tamiya tyres! Mark Bryan RC Hi Mark, sorry this response is so late... no idea how I missed your kind comments! I haven't heard of Simon Webb, but I'll try finding him (sounds like a sensible guy 😁). It is indeed two-speed, as it turns out. I've done one update so far and will do another once the electronics arrive and get fitted. The body is coming along too. Nearly there! Cheers! 👍😀

As i understand, the single speed comes with the RTR, the two speed with the kit. Might've been a misprint or mixup with the boxes.

What an awesome way to start a Saturday morning... thoroughly enjoyed mate.. You definitely sucked me in at the end. I thought what ! Built already !... nah. Well get to it, let's see it done then. Are you doing all those tricky leaf spring mods, like radius the shackles etc..? Also not sure if tf2 and the c2x are same transmission unit, but SBG did a video on clocking the motor to lower CG.. I kind of feel that same magnetic pull to a leaf spring truck for some stupid reason also.. Nice vid mate , enjoy your weekend. Cheers 👍

Mick D Thanks, really pleased you enjoyed it! Ha, yes, I better get on and build it... I’ll probably end up modding it, yes, but nothing major at first. I’ll try to get the suspension working and supple (within reason), but I’m not planning on big flex. I’ll look at clicking the motor too, down the line (that’s definitely doable). Anyway, enjoy your weekend too - cheers! 👍😀

It turned out to be two-speed after all! It's actually proved brilliant on the trail, and I use the gearshift all the time, so I'm happy about that.

AHAHAHA you did my tyre trick with the shocks. i'm honoured. Yeah metal bumper rails are cool, get some spots on the front one. AnT R/C Maybe I should build a mini-sub to go in the back? And yes to the spot lamps- I forgot, I was planning to (hopefully) find a push-bar type thing for the centre and mount two spots in it. There’s a farm pickup like that round here - looks cool.
