Slow playing EP's ... nah. But the 45 format was far and away my favorite music format, and in a lot of ways still is. Even thru the mid 90's a $2 single was the best value for your money. Especially if that was the only song you liked from the album. Plus the 45's in the jukeboxes over the decades were just ... pure Americana. Long Live the 45!

No credit given to the Postal Service for careful handling.

How true true, how true , One must gorilla proof their package skills to ship any RCA 45 player so it arrives safely and in one piece. Forget about POSTAL insurance too, their is no such thing except for the paperwork and delay. Dejoice hasn't made the situation any beer either.Good thing we have UPS.

The record traveled around the world 🌎 and never broke or chipped. IT'S NOT MADE OF SHELLAC, Duhhh....... Ya think maybe it would have gotten scratched up a bit without it being in a protected jacket, and what if the people played it with a 💩 stylus? Was everybody dumb then??? The EP 45 was short-lived and wound up as sound-alike Gilmar and Tops budget EPs. You can find some on KZbin and they are a joke 🤣!

RCA made some cheesy commercials. The players are Ok but have shitty sound. The best players are the early units that hooked up to a decent amplifier. The mechanical designs were flawed from the beginning, due to cost cutting measures. As time progressed RCA continued cheapening the players, by eliminating parts all together, using paper thin vinyl and worst of all in reducing the number of tubes in the amplifier. Can you imagine a 1 tube amplifier with 5 parts. How good is that audio going to sound? Marketing missed their target audience and ended up in the hands of teenage girls. The players were produced for 10 years and then the factory burned down, that was certainly curious a event. The record format was a total failure. it was just another passing fancy in the line of consumer rip offs, of records, 8 track tapes, cassettes, CD \ DVD's and MP3 junk.

Oh, please. I have two of these that still work without refurbishing. Cost cutting my ass. These "cheesy" commercials were of their era, which is just fine by me any other pointless complaints, know it all?
