Lovely vintage 1950s RCA products from 1958!

Although Audio Fidelity records introduced the first "stereo LP" recordings in November 1957, RCA was not about to be upstaged by another recording company....and trumpeted the fact that THEY, the innovators of modern recording techniques {billing themselves at the beginning of the decade in advertisements as the "world leader in radio......first in recorded music........first in television", as David Sarnoff INSISTED they should}, would lead the way in recorded stereo entertainment, as this 1958 promotional film attempted to demonstrate.

RCA model SHC-2. Right now( 3-7-21) one is for sale on Ebay for $450 but you have to go to AZ to pick it up! There are some nice photos at that website to peruse showing more detail including rear and chassis label. In case you don't know it has a 6AL7 tuning eye. Pretty cool for a 1958 model!
