Even through a camera mic recording the Pioneer sounds amazing. You have some truly amazing equipment. I'm so glad to see the Tascam DA-3000! I want one so bad but they're extremely expensive and difficult to find.

Recently one went for $850 on eBay and start price was $500. I got mine from Amazon brand new.

I don't know if this deck is in the same place like Tandberg TCD 910 or Nakamichi 1000ZXL

This Video sounds great, now I can really enjoy your work which is amazing, still I wished you used the SACD as a source, really would give even better recordings results then the dac out of the labtop

I have purchased a few DSD Albums on my DA-3000, but I would not be able to play and record at the same time. Even if Pioneer is good, it sounds a bit stiff to my taste. I am in love with the modded 680zx.

@@hifirulezzz I totally agree on the 680zx, could very be the best deck from all decks you worked on, have followed all the mods on those and the results, compares and tuning, great work, myself have The Sony's TCK-970ES, TCK-990ES (my best), TCK-790ES (bought in1992 first owner), TCK-808ES (bought new and still is hardly used), TC-WR835S (bought new), have replaced all the belts on all my decks which are hard to get good ones! Didn't need to replace the capstan belts. Just replaced the working belt of mine 990 again yesterday after 4 years, taken apart the whole mechanism and cleaned it, put new grease in it, maybe the old grease put to much strain on the belt, now it works great again! But still have to do some work on it, like the SMD caps on the DD mechanism, one is leaking and start to eat the traces on the print, but I learned a lot from you so thinking of getting the digital scope, sound generator and will try to make tuning tapes or maybe try to buy some somewhere to get them in top shape, now I have tuned them only with my old recordings on my 790ES that I know good, there's probably still room for improvement! Again great work:)

@@hifirulezzz Was thinking, the little stiff sound is very good possible due to the new parts that still have to burn in and also maybe the lack of use in it's previous life, use it and use it, I promise it will get alive more and maybe after that check the tuning again when properly run in:) Same is with cables, some need a few hours, some need over 40 hours and sound cranky when they have been disconnected and reconnected again, this mostly take just a few mins, always use cables in the same direction, mark them, I have very much experience with this:) I love music and audio equipment since I was 6, am 47 now, I'm an adiophile since I new that there was a word for:) I use the Van Den Hull Integration on my Cassette Deck, have 11 more cabbles from Van Den Hull, even The McGold, but the inthegration works best on any Cassette Deck I used, sound is fast, precise, transparent and alive:) I just used my TCK-808ES again the last few days because my 990 didn't want to play again due the belt and it just came alive after more then 8hours playing, after maybe sitting for over 6 years and is still maybe used for 12 hours max, it's not as good as the 990 off course (less highs and the very lows below 30hertz) but never thought it could be this good just to take the time to use it porperly:)
