Thank you! Not only was this my first 45 in my childhood but it went on to be my wedding song! (played by a live band at my wedding). Very cool!

I love that 45 rpm record player. Can you do a video on it? The song itself is quite unusual, especially the tonality! I bet you're quite safe from Content ID with this one!

clydesight Thanks for viewing my video Tim, I'm not gonna promise anything about doing a video about how this machine works because I've been very busy and Having responsibilities in other areas I haven't had the time or the ambition to do really extended videos on things like this. However I've saved a few videos of things that I've done several years ago in my digital camera that I haven't even edited or Uploaded yet to KZbin so I might do them sometime soon when I get some time to myself So maybe I'll get those Uploaded and ready sometime. Life seems to just have been getting very difficult and Busy work wise for me and I have really no energy or ambition lately to do really long videos and restorations like I would like to, and videotape them and get them done on camera. Because I know that when you do a video series like on your realistic tape recorder it takes a lot of time not only to show the demonstration on camera but to get it right, and I'm sure there probably was a lot of out takes and editing that you had to do to get the presentation nice and clean for each part of that series. And I just don't have a lot of time or concentration lately to sit in front of the camera and try to demonstrate and describe what I'm trying to do during the restoration Without having to do a lot of retakes because maybe my descriptions aren't as tight as I'd like them to be. So I guess lately and just showing what the And results have been. I hope you understand, but maybe one of these days I'll get down-and do a really good extended video series of something that I'm restoring But in the meantime like I said maybe all edit and upload those videos that I did several years ago and tried to put them on the KZbin channel.

No sweat. I was just wishing aloud because I enjoy your videos so much. But I fully understand and respect your point of view.

clydesight thanks Tim, I think I was also thinking out loud, because I feel like it's been so long since I've done a real restoration video, and both you and i........... and Buzz1151 knows what goes into making them that its alot of work. I do miss making those presentations but will get something out there soon. you're a cool guy Tim and always enjoy your videos. stay well my friend.

NICE 45 player! AND the speed is correct & not wobbly like so many 45 players you see here on youtube. What a funny name for a song....POOP-A-Tink....hahahahaa! When I was a kid we laughed about the title of the song "OO-POO-Pah-DOO" I bet YOU laughed about it when you were a kid, too! POOP-A-tink...LOL!

I can see the speaker which means the grill cloth is missing and the flip over pickup looks wrong also, the song was cute and my last name is Wirth so that's close. Good Job overall and I openly am jealous of your hoard
@amberola1b7 жыл бұрын
Robert Wirth I don't really know if there actually was a grill cloth that went in front of the speaker. I think the reason why the speaker is more visible in this video is because I had my light on on my camera-phone and illuminated it a little bit more than normally Would-be seen. And plus I think I had the stylus cartridge in the cartridge shell backwards, That's why it looked like it was on the wrong side
@NEWbobofhollywood7 жыл бұрын
I wasn't asking..i was telling you. The grill was a cloth on a cardboard back - it's missing. I'm the same fella that told you years ago the national emblem march you played on your diamond disc was upside down. I'm trying to share with you what I know however you don't seem to think I know whereof I speak. Gotta love ya anyway man. You're clearly complicated and fascinating if not very difficult.
