I remember in the very early days of flite test and you had that tricopter with the t750 motors and kk board and I wanted one so bad! Now to see how far it has come is amazing. and I still want one.

Awesome! I've always wanted to build a tricopter and now with this, I think I will. The ability to see how many mAhs I've drawn is HUGE for me! I've never been able to see my battery percentage and voltage never made sense to me. Awesome frame!

Awesome work, David. Thanks for making the tricopter so readily available for everyone willing to get into the hobby! I hope iNav will get merged back into CF soon and then into TriFlight :)

awsome design. I have to get one. keep up the good work. so clean.. I like the baro protection. but these barometers are very sensitive to temperature change... inside that box will get very hot with a switching regulator in there as well.. going to throw off your barometer reading over time... even couple degrees difference after its starts it's calibration can effect it.. keep it up.

My impression is that it is not a box at all. It is some sort of a foam surrounding, open on the end.

You do some amazing stuff. I have build several versions, including my own ideas, based on your Tri. This integrated stuff is pretty pro. I just fear the destruction of vital parts in case of a serious crash. The tricopter is still a machine that should be moved like a "real" copter, not one of those DJI-style things, that are shifted through the air like baloons. So more could happen on the way.

I have one, it's a great frame and allot of fun. However the F3FC is a little dated and could use some lovin. I'd be all for having a standalone FC and BEC. Running an F4FC and dual BEC's (5 & 9vdc) would allow for a huge range of build options.

David THAT IS AWESOME!!! I have to say THANK YOU to you since your tricopter V2 was the first copter I ever built and your videos were what got me into this hobby. It's so great that even this awesome FC/frame can still be built with wooden booms =). Do you have any plans of coming to Finland? we'r close you know, just a few (hundred) kilometers to the right. Does this board has altitude hold mode? If yes, how to connect it? What if I would wish to have position hold mode, how to connect it/program it? What if I would like to connect OSD, which do you recommend and how to connect it? What should I purchase if I have V3 Tricopter Naze32 kit tricopter to upgrade it? Thanks

What kind of firmware does this run? Can it do RTH with a GPS and magnetometer?

Anyone have any info they could share around this board? I have an old tricopter V4 that I never got running completely and I am attempting to complete the build now. When powering the board, it powers the esc's, but does not power the FC. If I plug in the USB, it gets its 5V and powers the FC, but as soon as I disconnect, the board loses power. It wasn't always like this - it used to power the board and I could get the motors to spin, but now it doesn't. I don't know what happened to it, but hoping someone else has seen this and can point me in a helpful direction. Thanks!
