Wich will be louder or pinchier, those 2 sub 8004's compared to 8006 as wich i asume its the same drivers just on one cabinet... i mean 2 8004's stacked on eachother, or coupled together when laying down next to eachother when placed at the center

Thanks! Since this was filmed, I've acquired the NXL-24 and Sub-8004 for my own personal set-up. I continue to be amazed by it's clarity and output. I've used it for crowds up to 800 people with country/light rock and it performs flawlessly.

Thanks for a great video. Both are great combos though I’d have to agree that the 24 with 1 8004 sub sounded more balanced. The 44 requires the extra sub to create the same balance and seemingly slightly outclasses the one 8004 on its own, still sounded awesome though. Many thanks again.

Hello brother, I would like to know the settings for the nxl24 in the back in any direction clockwise to give perfection, performance and strength without damage, as well as sup8004 for better harmony between them and gave it the pure sound as well as in the mixer

Thank you for the info. Great video. How many people can be covered, outdoor with 2 NX l-44A per side?
@yandasmobilemusicstoreinc69897 жыл бұрын
A good question. There are few variables to consider including type of music, expectations as per sound levels, and the size of the venue. For the festivals I tend to get (blues, classic country, acoustic), I would feel pretty comfortable with 700 people outdoors with just one NXL44 and subs per side. For two per side (with the appropriate number of subs) I would feel comfortable in the 1000 range. As I said, many things depend on the genre of music, expected (or tolerated) sound levels, and the venue shape. One of these per side with two Sub-8004's would EASILY outperform my current rig and I've done pretty well with it up to about 700 people. A HUGE nod would have to be given to these over my existing system for sound quality and portability. One thing to keep in mind with my answers, however. I AM NOT a sound provider that feels it is necessary to blow peoples heads off. I usually shoot for 95-100dB peaks about 80 feet from the stage. These will do that and more.

Sorry, but I just noticed this question. I can't say that I have a definite answer for you. I can tell you that I've acquired the NXL-24 and Sub-8004 for my own personal rig, running one of each per side. I've used it for crowds up to 800 people outdoors with country/light rock and it was very adequate. I would imagine that the system you're referring to would be good for up to a thousand, pretty easily and depending on the genre, venue, and SPL expectations.

It appears we have similar mixing styles. I only crank it if demanded by purchaser. Just to make sure I am reading your response correctly, you are saying that 1 24 and one 8004 per side can handle up to 800 people?!? That's a lot of people for 2 towers of speakers. Absolutely impressive! I am really on the brink of biting the bullet and picking up 4 tops and 4 subs. I keep going back and forth between the 24's and the dB IG4T's. The dB are better on paper but the reviews kind of suggest otherwise.

@@paulstibal2331 Hey I just came across this discussion but I was wondering if you ever got you hands on either the ig4t or the nxl24a... I also keep jumping back and forth about purchasing either one and wanted to see what you decided on and why?

Question- when you step up to the NXL-44, will the Sub-8004 still be able to keep up with the tops?

Have you heard the new 8003-as II sub? spec whise it looks pretty interesting, almost on par with the 8004, but lighter
@yandasmobilemusicstoreinc69897 жыл бұрын
johgus96, I haven't heard the 8003 yet. On paper it is 3dB quieter and doesn't go quite as low. I'm sure it's a great performer as I've had yet to hear anything from RCF that I haven't liked.

Nice review, thanks for your honesty. I have a question though, I was hearing crunching in the low end, do you think that was just the recording??
@bobjosjor83075 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. With the KZbin/Facebook rules on recorded music, I've had to search out copyright free music like you hear here. Since this was done over two years ago, I've found better recordings to use. These recordings did have a bit of "squash" on the lows and you can hear it in the demo. I think the recording engineer pushed the compression a bit hard when they mastered the tracks.

hi. you say the 8004 is not enough for the nxl44. Did you run the l44 on fullrange? maybe then it will be a good fullrange balance.
@yandasmobilemusicstoreinc69897 жыл бұрын
That's a possibility. Generally speaking, it's not a wise idea to have different cabinets with different size drivers reproducing the same frequencies as odd cancellations and couplings may result.

For Dj's hip hop house music etc.. outdoor NXL 24 vs 44 Which off them is better. ? Thanks
@yandasmobilemusicstoreinc69897 жыл бұрын
It's a little bit of personal preference. It goes without saying that you would definitely want subs for hip hop/house music. The highs on the 44 are a little more "in your face" than the 24's. Some people really like that, some people don't. Other factors to take into account are the size of your audience and the size of your crew (the 44 can be a bit unwieldy if you'e moving it by yourself.) I would say the 24's for overall versatility but if you're doing a huge crowd and have the help, the 44's are pretty spectacular. I personally went with the 24's for my own rig.

If i use a pair of nxl24 and one sub 8003 for 200 pp ourdoors for dj ok? Please!
@yandasmobilemusicstoreinc69897 жыл бұрын
That would work, but you’ll need to turn the sub all the way up and turn the NXL24’s down a bit in order to have a balanced sound. The NXL24’s are very powerful and will overpower the sub-8003.

I've been running with the NXL series pretty hard and loud for two years now without one hiccup. I have friends with EVOX series that have had those for three years or more, gigging several times a week without issues. Everything can fail, but a blanket statement like yours seems to be unfounded.
@jasonbull39875 жыл бұрын
Why do you say that? Is there particular models examples you're referring to? Ive had 2x rcf subs for like 10 years, and never skipped a beat. They've outlasted jbl and yamaha subs put through the same flogging :)
