I’m interested in this system for live sound. How does this system compare to the Art 935 in terms of output? Was there any port buzzing with this tiny sub? I’m currently using a pair of Yamaha DXR15’s for the majority of my work and occasionally add a pair of QSC KW181 subs. It would be interesting to hear how this compares to this tiny RCF system for live bands. Also interested to hear how it compares to the db technologies es1203

1203 maybe haven't high-end sound quality but it's so versatile... It's 2x12" is very good and 8x4" tops are very loud

I have a pair of RCF TT 10-As and they are scary loud, much louder than TT 515-As, but that makes sense. The TT 515-A and 808-AS is a super light high end set, but of course it could never compete in power with conventional tops and subs from the same TT line. The TT 515-A and 808-AS set though could literally fit into a large luggage suitcase, so portability is a definite win here.

These definitely are much better compared to the Evox 12 and Evolve 50’s. The TT series has some sort or magic when it comes to their high frequency control.

What is The difference compared to tt-1a. and tt 08 mk 11 of tt 10a. I Play classical and jazz guitar, piano and sing french chanson and jazz ballads. So i am Looking for 2 tops and Some times with of without woofer. Greetings from Holland.

Without a sub woofer we would recommend the TT08 or the TT10. They are both incredible options. The 515 without a sub really wouldn’t be enough for you.

That isn’t their true purpose so the horn arrangement would be a little strange.

I have so many questions about this, but I'll try to keep it simple. This seems like a TT version of an Evox, that being said what kind of coverage and performance can be had by these, for example could they perform well in a large event hall with 200 people playing a wide genre of music? Will one sub module per side be enough or is 2 per side more real world?

The 515 is an incredibly upgraded version of the TT052. It is like an Evox system on steroids. We paired the 515 with an 8004 and it kept up! We also tried it with an 8006 and 9006 just for fun. The sub did eventually put run the top but it was very loud before it happened. We do believe these could work in the 200 person application you are speaking at a reasonable volume depending on the length of the room. As far as the sub module we really feel like you would need 2 808’s per side to do what we are used to. It is still a very small footprint even with 2.

Please if you can find try db technologies es1203, Wood cabinets, 2x12" in semi horn loaded, 8x 4" tops, they can be splitted because the amp is 3 channel so you can set the dsp to play in dual mono or stereo. If you consider 4x808 sub the 1203 is lighter smaller and quicker to setup, 35 kg for the entire system and the most important thing is it cost 1400 euro including covers

From day one when I came across the KZbin video on these, I have been very intrigued about them. Our church can hold up to 150 maximum occupancy. We do a full live band for worship with all different types of music- hymns and contemporary songs. Can we do a stereo set up- 2 tops(515's) on each side- with it laid down on its side- the top one for long throw to the back and the bottom one angle down for short front fills? Then I want three 808's all under the center of the stage for a mono set up. Would that work well? Right now we have too big of speakers (JBL PRX15's) hanging from the ceiling and two PRX 18's one each side of the stage. They are big and obtrusive looking! I want something small but yet powerful speakers that will do just that!

I wish we could give you a straight answer on this. That isn’t really what these are intended for but could work for that. Probably something in the TT series that is a little larger too might work better. We are very impressed by these but haven’t tried anything quite like you are talking about yet.

how well is the bass?? does it hit very low? i mix alot of hiphop i want the bass to be heard to the lowest point. i currently own a cerwin vega cve 18 inch and it hits so good but its just so large to carry

I suggest using Indonesian DJ on the channel (KELUD PRODUCTION) so that the subwoofer sounds louder, it's up to you which title you want.
