I think to stop the back from peeling back on the third row, you are supposed to flip the hidden storage cover upside down before raising the third row FYI.

It’s just an aftermarket screen, kids can watch Netflix/youtube on it while we’re driving, however it doesn’t have its own data plan so we have to hotspot our phones to it

I have a 7-Seater and it's well worth it with the current pricing ($1K add-on). You gain adjustability in the second row and you have a backup plan for the occasional 6-person trip. The only flaw that really irked me, was that you have to be careful when putting the third row in the upright position. We noticed our seat was bent a little, just like Myk's. It's clearly a design flaw. There's a good fix online--zip tie the back of the third row to the internals. Janky...but effective.

No, because your middle rows needs to be change too. 5 seaters doesn't have the sliding mechanism.

Great video! Interesting with the third row down you lose an 1” of cargo room but you gain an 1” of leg room for the 2nd row passengers. Did not know about the 3” of clearance needed for the trunk. I pickup my 7-seater soon. Delivery schedule 9/9-9/15

The 7 seater Y is not a practical vehicle and we ended up with the Rivian R1S. We do have the 5 seater Y which works well.

The 7 seater is basically a better version in every way. It seems there is no reason the 5 seater actually exists. Tesla should remove it and only sell the 7 seater. This will reduce manufacturing costs, because only one model is produced. Then, Tesla could even sell the 7 seater for the price of the 5 seater.

7 seater is basically useless unless you only have kids in the back two rows. You cannot even have adults in the middle row and kids in the back. There is just no legroom. If anything they should ditch the 7 and lower the price on the 5.
