RCI Rock Sliders Bare Metal Prep & Paint

I recently bought some RCI Rock Sliders for the Toyota 4Runner, and this is a quick video on how I prepared and painted the bare metal sliders. Enjoy!

Yes I painted the entire rail. Mainly to keep it from rusting. Sorry for the late reply. This comment slipped through the cracks.

Have you ever tried the rustoleum bed liner spray? If so, do you like this product better then that one. I’m painting tomorrow and am trying to decide.

Sorry, didn't see your message in time. I have never tried the bed liner spray. I just like the way the regular paint looks, but looks is subjective. I'm sure it works fine. Let me know what you ended up using and how happy you are with it. thnx 👍

I picked mine up yesterday, and planned on doing bed liner spray until this video. The skateboard tape idea is brilliant.
