Chassis is the basic TT01 so loads of upgrades for it but apart from bearings, motor fan and an alloy prop shaft, really it’s good to go. This is a stunning body but the hardest one I have ever done. It takes hours and hours but the end result is well worth the pain.
@Mini-z19944 жыл бұрын
Accidentally wrote Lit instead of kit in the description & Wouldn't mind seeing some upgrades too this, some power upgrades maybe sensored 13.5t motor, 2nd tallest pinion you can stick in the chassis, & parts so you get adjustable camber, toe in, toe out etc... Maybe dedicate a kit too use one chassis & do multiple different bodies. Like one with an undertray for rally along with tamiya rally block tires & fitting rims like the lancia delta integrale or similar classic 1990's rally car. A wide 200mm body with wide offset rims & tires like an hpi, dodge viper or something. And perhaps different shocks in the front making it a bit stiffer.

@RCKickschannel4 жыл бұрын
Well a lot of people run them in the stock Euro truck racing so you can’t do much. Glue the tyres and I’ve seen people glue the side wall of the front tyres to stop the tyre rolling over on the rim. Running Lipo really helps this chassis.

Don't be so hard on yourself. Back in the 90's when I worked in a body shop, I painted just about everything with PPG paint. If you scuffed it, you should not have any issues. I raced a losi XX with multiple colors and it never chipped at all.

Nice. Does the body scratch on the under parts when turning fast? Also does it feel heavy with the high center of gravity - like a truck? Or do you need to put some weight up there. Cool as.

I’m not sure, possibly support the TS paint a bit more but I think what saved me was I key my polycarbonate bodies before I paint them so it gives a good service for the paint to grab. That and the body doesn’t flex that much in the centre.

It’s only for a few days a year so it’s not really enough to justify the cost of fitting air conditioning to the house. It’s the same with snow, we only get 1-5 days a year so no point having snow tyres.
