Hpi Baja 5B at my LOCAL RC TRACK!!

In this video I take my Gas Powered 1/5th scale Hpi Baja 5b SS to my local Rc Track for the very First Time! Also rocking a brand new look with a custom painted Monster Energy Body!

i know this is a year old but you really have to dial it in, i have the same rc of course and once its dialed in correctly, throttle, endpoints brake tightness etc very nice machine

I love my Baja! Since getting it and experiencing a large scale gas I have no ambition to run electrics anymore. Definitely agree about the brakes though, mine are horrible.

Yeah having just rear brakes is one of the biggest disadvantages with a Baja

First Cool track run with the Baja 5B, If i were to a get a gas powered RC i would get Losi 5ive T 2.0 (Real) or 30 Degree North DTT--7 (5ive T Clone). even though it would take a long time to save up for it but it might be worth it in the end and i can always convert to electric if i don't like the gas motor.

@@RCKnockout Yes. Use JB Weld on it. It's a two part epoxy. Clean the dirt off with some 91% isopropyl alcohol first. Another recommendation I have no matter if you are using super glue or epoxy, don't give up. Glue it each time it break. There will be some strong and weak bonds on both sides. The glue will bond to itself very well, and each time you will end up with a strong bond. (kind of like survival of the fittest) A second method that can work well with epoxy is to not only glue the two ends together, but also create a "cast" going out from the break, both direction. This not only give you bonding at the joint where the break happened, but also a "butterfly band aid" effect 360 degrees outward.
