Yes Sega and Atari had some cancelled for the Genesis and Jaguar. There is some info on the Genesis VR game prototypes. VR has been a thing in TV shows/movies for years I mean the VR training you could probably look to Tron or other SciFi films or being in a game type ones Tron came out when it did I think on VHS and way before the sequel in the 2010s. I think Game Box 1.0 (I recommend Brutal Moose's video on it) while it's a bad film is a VR focused type film in a way. But games trying to go for it was the 90s but waiting for it till the 10s when the tech was good enough. Virtual Boy was more so 3D depth not VR. Even the wire framing of Red Alarm (VB game) you could reference to the Vectrex a vector based console with a screen and controller built into one in the late 70s early 80s. NES/Master System had 3D glasses of early stereoscopic 3D at least for consoles as 3rd in theatres had been a thing around 3 times before 2010 era with TVs. The more you look at tech or console peripherals the more you appreciate things. Like the Gizmondo and Tapwave Zodiac came out during the PSP, flopped but are PC/PDA like ideas they had GPS/media playback, the Tapwave Zodiac had games on SD games yes strange right. But GPS/Camera was built in imagine that on a PSP or Gameboy without being an add-on. LGR did great videos on those handhelds. (Pocket PCs yes the Steam Deck before the Steam Deck of the 2000s and mostly business devices Sony made some, Samsung did, some forgotten companies). Things come back around when the tech gets better or when people forget and try to resell it. I mean Jaws 3D in the 80s, some gimmicky 3D or other theatre gimmicks of the 50s/80s. They are worth a look. :)

The song in 12:19 is still in the original game for PS2, if you go to insomniac museum, go to the quarters of ratchet and you can play like 3 unreleased levels, 2 of the first level, and the last one is a different level, the song is heard in the first unreleased level......if you already knew this, than I was just saying.

I know this video is super old and stuff but I think it's worthing noting that Ratchet's wrench still upgrades in the final game. I think it's based on either your HP or your armor although I'm not 100% sure on which of them it is.

25:40 - Besides the Alpha Combat Suit & Infernox armor, the BETA version Ratchet's armor DOESN'T really have "sleeves", but sleeve-like ATTTACHMENTS, instead. Still, this explains why the version of the Adamantine Armor from the PS2-original version of Ratchet 3's instruction manual showed no indication(s) of a clone-trooper-style black under-suit.

Technically your wrench automatically upgrades itself as your nanotech level increases, that’s why when you swing your wrench sometimes you see an effect produced from it like a red orange or a lightning effect. Also upgrade crate would have been way too overpowered imo lol

RC Lombax Yes, but it's at the same place like it is in the beta. The devs probably had an idea of the Phoenix being under attack and they placed it into the normal version for some reason, not sure how to level loading and how the level works when it has multiple scenarios

Love the wooo over the plumber cutacene. XD A lot of interesting cutscenes, details in levels and early versions here really cool stuff cut that prototypes show off and make you go oh thats where the cutscene is in the level when we see it as irs just a 2D changing area in front of some lava or whatever deep veneth the lrvel. The button for thr clank level I think was just a copy and someone forgot to delete it as it was used to copy the model, had the animations and for people to rig up to the doors by the programmers. Its interesting how creepy unfinished Al is yet the animations are there. Thr amount of Ratchet 1 still is surprising yet some Ratchet 2 you'd think would be in there. Also the tv untextured when it was in 2 is a surprise whatever they were going for with the lighting on them there I guess. The button inputs over the qeark curscene hmm. Tutorial prompts there. The audio samples for qwark on Florana is cool. Lot of conyezt there. The jackpot crate woo. I mean Tony Garcia dod come up with more crates and got that case of beer. So upgrader crate would have been cool. I expected it yo be a qrench upgrade but we have the inferno crate so wouldn't make much sense but a weapon leveling crate hmm. It playing the level up animation and how infrequent to get it hmm. Yeah can see why it was cut even if cool. Nanotech crate to level up like those in 2 would have been cool as well. Oh the design is in the multiplayer do it does exist just not the same functionality hmmm. Or another one does. Yeah determining the qeakest weapon is interesting. Held weapon sure but weakest id a lot of code to determine in a players inventory yeah can see why they wouldn't. Possible sure but awkward. Well we got qrench upgrades through Deadlocked just not use but purchases at the vendor. Still interesting stuff. No upgrades like SAC offered in the prison levels with Ratchet but still. Those and size matters armour were really cool additions people overlook. Those trails are pretty good. Sleeves! Pretty cool. Infernonox maybe minor touches. Oh blinking of the armour in inferno mode hmm. Interesting. The Ratchet 2 images and slots/descriptions makes sense. 256x256 images and placeholders Seen a fair amount I need to go back through the other videos again or thode I haven't yet..
