When it comes to money, it is all out mathematical outcome, for some drivers, get caught with 5k fine is much cheaper than insurance. From insurance company eyes, a simple cell phone ticket will be “death” sentence to some driver. If we don’t fix insurance system, more and more uninsured vehicles will be on the road, Compulsory insurance law does not work when it does not make sense, or any “non criminal “ law for that matter.

Well you dont have a car so you won't need to worry yourself over unlicensed drivers on the road, driver with outstanding warrant for arrest, or prohibited drivers 🚫 or no vehicle insurance. In other words, basically drivers who shouldn't be on the road.

The police catch and arrest so-called real criminals all the time all over the world by pulling them over in their vehicles that aren't licensed, aren't registered, or insured and break basic driving laws all the time. Criminal activities start by not following basic laws and then it expands from there stop them now before it gets out of control.

Get rid of the Validation decals and now switched to infrared camera technology. They tell you getting rid of the decals was to save money only to bring in new technology at a cost by the taxpayer. Big brother watching every move nowadays.

I work a full time job pay my taxes work hard pay my child support. And i wouldn't even be able to live on my own little alone pay insurance. My vehicle is parked and i get rides to work from a coworker whos wife is a nurse. My license is clean for 10 years and insurance is un affordable for me. I see this is from BC I don't know how it is out there but here in manitoba a lot of people struggle with finances I find it interesting that the are spending money on those units, but have a had time with rent and bills, that doesn't seem to be any concern. Vehicle owners pay all fees involved with their vehicles and no level of government pays one dollar for any of it. All roads are paid for by tax payers. Again, the RCMP is wrong... the vehicle plates may be issued by the province through a manufacturer, but paid for by the owner... the vehicle owner. The plates are 100% owned by the vehicle owner.

But one good thing springs two bad one. Remember the stickers? That was good, but the ministry needed to cut labour costs. That's three to one, and when everything working, four or five to one.
