I miss these races. Waterford speedbowl in the late 80s and up to mid 90s had some impressive races like this

The crazy thing about these races at Riverhead it wasn't about the car you had but if you are scorer could keep you off of the scoreboard until later where people weren't watching you the score is if they could backtrack on your time you can get up front at the end of the race to win because of cheating on the scoring

Yeah….I’m pretty sure there were drivers who were on the infield with a flat tire at the end of the race who still finished in the top 5. 🤣
