Haven't been on ur channel for some time cause of covid 😅but u have influenced a lot of buyers, even if they didn't purchase from ur links. I live in Korea so it's unwise to purchase from abroad but I remember checking ur reviews before buying. I'll check in whenever I can, thank u for ur reviews, even traxxas had to back down ✊

Ty for the video. Glad to see you getting curious and/or interested in moon buggies. I recently purchased a ti Speedy R2 VRD. Dropped in a Carbon skid and transmission. Was able to reuse “most” of the links. Fusion Pro. Two G13 Pro servos. Meus axles 4ws. JE Designs motor. Priceys shocks. Chanquish wheels lol. Swampers. Custom wraps. Interior is being made at the moment, so I’m stoked to see it all together and on the rocks 🙌🏾🙏🏾🤞🏾🤑😩😜🤗

That build sounds really nice, I’m excited to see what you do! It's like a cool new universe of RC.

@ Ty. Can’t wait to get it back and finish it up… Not sure how I’d go about show you the finished rig… but yeah these buggies are def fun so far- can be pricey geez lol. Next move is to build my own, like Harley Designs build along. It looks to be something very achievable w/ the right tools and materials.

I had a moon buggy build in 2008-2010 range. Ax01 axles and tranny running a hitec digital steering servo and novak goat crawler system with custom made bead lock rims. Wish I still had it. Sold it around 2011/2012.

Very cool. You're ahead of your time.

@RCReviewChannel you may think that but the truth is there were A lot of us that had moon buggy builds back then. Not sure if I can find any pics of it though. Lost a crap load of old pics over the years

Yeah, pretty fun making it.

Also wanted to mention they definitely arnt making as much profit on each cage as you think. Titanium is a costly material on top of welding consumables used to make each one. They are priced very modestly.

Isn’t a moon buggy a minimalist chassis with no protruding front or rear bumper mean for slow technical rock crawling? Capra cage is more basher style over built cage meant to go fast and take hard hits

I got 1 custom frame back in the day, my treasured Land Shark is a mostly Tange Prestige road bike adorned with Campy C Record (1st year Ergopower w/ Delta brakes) and a longish and lowish geometry that still fits after 30 years with an old man sized titanium stem. 🤞🏼 I dig the buggies but I'm gonna stick to my frame railed crawlers.

Im right there with you. I’m building a R2. P1D is next on the list. A 3D printer is gonna unlock a lot.
