This is the new direction in scale RC flight. Realistic flying. You have models that are beautiful, but they fly like a bee jerking around in the sky. Real airplane has different lift to mass ratio that they don't jerk around like a bee. This is getting close to perfect. Seems like it needs a little more inertia. More mass at front and tail end of the plane so it does not pitch so fast.

That looks great. It enables a more scale speed being extra light. I was an airevac crew member on this airplane in the seventies. It had a floor which could be lowered into place making it have a second deck. The clamshell doors in the front were a unique feature as well. Eight thousand unpressurized feet and one hundred ninety knots airspeed. We were never in a hurry. Flew back from the Azores one winter against a cold front. To save gas the cabin heaters were turned off. They ran on fuel. Twelve frozen hours.

I was often annoyed by helicopters that made crazy strange movements, upside down at a height of 50 cm... THAT is NOT model flying. That is YOUR beautiful old-timer aircraft and it flies so lifelike that you sit there breathlessly looking at it, beautifully done. My last RC plane was the Piper J3 in 1989 with a 25cc MOKI engine, I often only had that engine at 40% of its power, so that it flew so faithfully.
