4:00 For thoses who are more math or science inclined. The left stick controls movement on the Z axis (translation (throttle) and rotation (yaw ) on the Z Axis) and the right stick controls rotation on the X and Y axis (Pitch is rotation on the X axis and Roll is roation on the Y axis)

Great video! I've been looking for some video that covers the basics and that's it! Every other video starts assuming you know the basics, but no one explains that really. So thanks!

Good to see you have it for beginner to Drone Simulator. I bought the Flysky FS-i6s too. Bought the Liftoff, DRL & DCL on Steam. Nice to have someone talk about those sticks. Nice.

Hi Adam, are the same setups in Beta Flight in real life for training? Thanks

Hi! The betaflight settings may be similar, but will probably not feel exactly the same in real life.

I suggest to use the default Betaflight rates. I believe they are 667 degrees per sec for all 3 axis (roll, pitch, yaw). You can still adjust it later when you know what feels natural to you personally and to your muscle memory. I personally use 800 for roll and pitch and 700 for yaw. Below order (RC-Rate, Rate, RC Expo). Go right away to 'Acro' mode, don't even bother with 'Angle' or 'Horizion' mode: Roll: 1.20 / 0.70 / 0.20 Pitch: 1.20 / 0.70 / 0.20 Yaw: 1.05 / 0.70 / 0.20

Depends on what you're doing. Also if you're talking about "too fast" because the quad flies too quickly, not spins too quickly, you probably want to lower your camera angle. That has the biggest effect on your speed.

Make sure there is no expo on your model in the FSi6. The default rates on the game seem a little slow to me once i learnt to fly and wanted to do flips and rolls.
