As a Saffa, I appreciated that coast to coast try. Very lovely indeed. Btw, Edmed might be a decent option for Australia.

Hes playing well for North Harbour, but he was really poor for the Tahs and was dropped as starting 10 this year. Might do well with a better pack next year.

No, he shouldn't. He was the 5th best Australian flyhalf all season. When are you people going to stop overestimating the NPC? Playing well in this competition proves nothing.

Shaun Stevenson absolutely superb !!!

Right at the end he spotted some kids in the stand and casually chipped it right into their arms. Lucky the ABs are loaded with exciting talent so Shaun isn't needed? Ennor and Mcleod are more Robertson's cup of tea.

A lot of Aussie non-wallaby SRP players would do well to take a leaf out of Edmed's book and try and get in with an NPC side. Beloved though they are, the Shute Shield and Hospital Cup (Sydney and Brisbane club comps) aren't really at a level to give them effective match practice for at the level they need. Everyone wants Aussie sides to be more competitive against the kiwis? Ok, Sure! ...how about we get more match practice alongside and against them?
@taakeyourtime3 ай бұрын
As a Harbour fan, my word what a frustrating side to follow. Wins like this, against Waikato are offset by snatching defeat from the jaws of victory against Hawkes Bay, Auckland - and realistically, should have beaten 1 of BOP or Counties too. Consistency please! It's so good, when they turn up!

Lots of talent & coaches leaving and the replacements not up to scratch. Definitely need a shake-up when it comestibles management and culture. Can't rely on the memories of the past to carry them i to the future.

Wtf is happening to Canterbury. The defence, for so long their hallmark, is shambolic

Same as Super Rugby - the NI teams are holding on to their talent - the tap is turned off.

Ref being from Aussie refereeing a game, where the winning team has an Aussie playing at first five gives me the impression of favourism to Counties and bias against Canterbury.

That no10 for Harbour looks a good prospect. Also, I was interested that the game flowed much better than a test match. No yellow cards, not too many penalties. I even saw a forward pass that wasn’t picked up. Wish internationals were more like this.

Stevenson incredible. Such a shame to see a talent like Leo go to the Storm too. He's been amazing for a few years now, how has he not been picked up? Instead Fihaki called into the AB's....

Counties first three tries shouldn't have been given, knocked on and offside in the lead up to first try, 2nd try clear as day obstruction against North Harbour number 8 preventing a Canterbury player from making a tackle on Shaun Stevenson, third one, offside again.
@cameronwebb79643 ай бұрын
2nd try after half time, shouldn't have been given because there was about 4 clean forward pass completely missed by the one-eyed Aussie refs.
