I actually lost my soul when RD Burman passed away. I am on the wrong side of 55, and sometimes I still choke myself thinking of RD, Kishore & Asha nite at Netaji. Indoor Stadium at Kolkata in 1982. I was finishing my M.Tech from IIT Kharagpur and danced the whole time. In early morning I took the Kharagpur local and went back to campus. Did not tell my parents that I pawned my watch to buy tickets for the show, and neither that I was visiting Kolkata for that day.😀
