Mark channeled that same energy i feel when i see adult game developers making these cookie cutter casual games that generate thousands of dollars a month. At the end of the day, that's the price of doing something no one has ever done before. Casual crowd will always jump on "after" you make it and most of them are used to having content dumbed down, so they mindlessly contribute like "Ha ha funny. Look take my $$". Before then, you have the genuine people in your niche who support you. Unfortunately that number is small so it can be hard to make a living until then - I knew this from experience before I started my latest project, but it's still difficult at times. Its not uncommon for creators to give up, and projects to die before they reach fruition. It's very, very hard to create when you're not being supported properly as people often expect all your time and energy at times. That makes what this group of young men have done even more remarkable. Nobody who hasn't done it understands this side of trying to be a creator in this day and age. There are countless hours, sweat, tears and obstacles that go into making *anything* unless... you know, you just act like a simpleton. Then I guess everyone empties their wallets for you. 😅
