@@oferland29 I managed to beat them. My only tip is let them hit you until you get 1 skill point, you might lose a bar of life but one you get your skill point. Go into sparking zero and spam hitting Square or w.e Xbox has. Hit a combo and once they are flying away, hit the ultimate. Do that as much as you can and you’ll beat them Geice and burder are annoying tho but is doable.

They literally gave the nostalgic players what they wanted while adding in changes to make it fresh. Because let’s be honest if it was a 1 for 1 remake we’d play it for like a week and never pick it back up. But they actually put thought into the competitive scene. There are so many learning curves that you have to perfect if you want to be god tier at the game. That’s what keeps players playing. A kid is not gonna be able to mash on you and win. You have to get nice. This game is literally chess. You have to read and predict your opponents fighting habits and counter them.

They did not or any thought into the competitive scene as you say. This is basically hold your hand Tenkaichi, Z Countering is was easier and just about mashable to get out. When the vanish exchange happens the timing is easier and everybody vanishes at the same speed and pace so more everybody is just vanishing till whoever has less ki. A lot of supers and ultimates are either way too fast or unblockable and fast and then probably a few more things but I forgot everything a discord I was in discussed about the game…..overall some great things about this game nut but it needs a patch and one patch intent essentially gonna make the game balanced all of a sudden since it’s been said making a balanced game wasn’t their full focus by the devs

Also you can mash just like any fighting game and early game it’ll help but trust later in rank you need to be more careful but in early ranks the game is definitely a button mashing game.

It's just cuz the control scheme ain't been drilled in out heads for over a decade😭done lost our touch. And on top of that if you go Standard they switched buttons around. I do like how it sort of evens out the playing field, though, since it means that the majority of people playing it are pretty much made fresh to these controls agaij as well.
