I rode the Cariboo every week from Squamish to Williams Lake and back . Good ride. great crew and unbelievable great scenery too! Years ago but sure brings back good memories.

RDC-3 BC 33 and RDC-1 BC 21 both preserved at the WCRA Museum in Squamish BC.

My son loves RDC'S he thinks they are highly underrated rail transportation vehicles and they should be preserved, restored, and put back into service. He also thinks that Siemens, Progress Rail, or any other company that builds railroad equipment should build copies of RDC's and the departments of transportation should put them to work on lines that are not used anymore carrying both passengers and mail.

I rode those often in the 60's between North Vancouver and Devine as well as between D'Arcy and Lillooet...wish that they were still in service...I'd be taking trips just for the fun and entertainment...👍

Cool! RDC-3 # 30 is now in Oregon, USA (out of service at the moment, unfortunately).

Actually BC 30 is running on the Newport Narragansett Bay Railroad with BC 15.

i remember taking this passenger car from north Vancouver to Prince George years ago. It was one of the best train ride I have taken. Do you know if there is any footage of the Tumbler Ridge section. I hear the tunnels through that area are amazing to go through.
