In fact, knowing the cause of death does nothing for you, because no matter how careful you are, it's still going to occur anyway. Meanwhile Date gives you peace of mind, closure, and a way to abuse the finite days you are given by being able to carefully plan when it's all going to be over. About the escaping 10 Jonin question: Are these just the average Jonin, or are there known Jonin like Kakashi, Asuma, Guy potentially in the mix? Because I think ya'll are forgetting just how sorry the vast majority of ninja are in Naruto. Remember that Mizuki was a Chunin, Ebisu is a Jonin, and I believe ya'll made a skit about how ridiculously sorry ANBU members are. Named characters generally have WAAAAAAY better feats and sometimes physical strength isn't the only measurement in whether or not you're promoted. (remember that Neji, Naruto, Sasuke, Shino and Rock Lee weren't made into Chunin). I'm going to assume it's the former and if we're talking late Shippuden, Choji is arguably one of, if not THE strongest ninja in the rookie 9 outside of Naruto and Sasuke. Once he got his confidence from murdering his zombie teacher, he can use Expansion Jutsu and the butterfly mode at the same time and fought with the Gedo statue and was washing Jonin. Choji wouldn't need to help you escape 10 Jonin because he would probably beat them. Also, ya'll might be sleeping on Anko. If this is pre-Shippuden, she's EASILY the best pick considering she's already a Jonin, was too fast for any of the Genin to see during the Forest of Death intro (when she snuck up on Naruto), Orochimaru trained her and explicitly mentioned that Sasuke MIGHT have more talent than she did, and this is assuming she can't use her Curse Mark to dramatically boost her Chakra. All in all, great video.

You’re saying that like Brook can go visit his family 😂 he was in the Darkness for 50 years and Law and his crew will all eventually die around the same time Brook has to live through his crew dying twice 🤷🏾‍♂️ and their pirates all of them may not die of old age.

I was actually surprised none of them said Robin’s story was the saddest because before we learned about the second half of Sanji’s backstory I thought everyone assumed Robin’s was the saddest. Like in the case of Robin and Law once they lost the people who were protecting them they really had to grind on their own as children to make it to where they are today. Sanji’s backstory was horrible but he at least had Zeff to help fix his horrible upbringing. Robin and Law had no one.

Sanji’s trauma was always there, zeff helped him but never solved it. Law also had Rosinante, if it weren’t for him he’d end up like doffy.

I definitely think the saddest goes to Brook. He lost his entire crew, his captain, his body, and was alone at sea for FIFTY years. No one in the entire series has anything on that. Isolation is no joke. Even a week of isolation is terrifying, a lot of people don’t understand just how destructive isolation is to a person. Imagine being cut off from ANY social interaction for a day. Cool, now imagine doing it again for a week. Cool, now imagine that lasting for *fifty* years, while also being surrounded by the corpses of all your closest friends. And that’s ignoring the fact that he spent over a year just trying to find his body after he came back to life. His only options were stay alive and suffer, or drown himself. Brook is #1 and it’s not even close

John and Dylan made a good point about knowing the date of your death. I agree with them because at least you can live ur life up to that point while knowing the cause of your death would be tormenting. If to say ur “cause” was a car crash, would you not go into a car anymore or be close to one.
