Honda hoses are expensive but can often be reused. Instead of pulling the hoses off, I often use a flathead screwdriver to PUSH the hose off of the fitting at the same time that I'm gently pulling. I have rarely ever needed to use a pick. I can usually get a hose off with minimal fuss and no damage to the hose. When time to reassemble, I would sometimes spray the fitting with a little silicone based lubricant or even a dab of petroleum jelly if in a pinch.
