The sounds dont get enough credit. The sound of metal clinking and saddle rubbing when you get on a horse, or the sound of the metal on leather when you holster your gun and so on and so on. The game is an absolute masterpiece.

The attention to detail in this game and how well everything comes together, how seamless, polished, cinematic and content packed it is, and exactly in what way and how... it absolutely DOES push the medium further. Pushing and innovation are not binary things. RDR2 is a realy special game in all rights and games can and do look up to it for generations to come. Its sheer quality and production values itself are an innovation, and pushing of the media.

Notice that this game took 8 years, hundreds of staff members and a budget of hundreds of millions of dollars to produce, and that its development has suffered from some of the worst crunch in the industry, and that, even then, the online mode was still not even finished, only entering open beta testing a month after the initial release of the game and still being fundamentally broken and unbalanced, with some of the worst microtransactions across this entire industry.

I haven't played this game I skipped the Ps4 and Ps4 Pro I'm hoping to get a Ps5 later on right now it's practically impossible but hopefully Rockstar releases a Ps5 version of RDR2, RDR2 looks amazing on PC I'm just honestly not that tech savvy to build my own gaming PC I wouldn't know where to begin.

If this game had Ray tracing it would be the best graphics in the next 10 years, because it already is the best game technically ever made, and no new generation game is even close to RDR2. This game is a masterpiece, if the online mode wasn't that trash it would be a clear 10/10
