Also killing enemies with a Bow gives you Plus 10 Health, so if you don’t want to Fish just bring a Bow in a Mission with a lot of enemies. Also Stabbing, or fist fighting someone.

What I did in fishing is take a step further away until you can no longer throw your lure then take 1 step forward, when you caught the fish and throw it back it can no longer go back and it will die because the water is shallow once you have enough fish on the edge pick it up, you will increase your dead eye, hp and honor at the same time and also make a little bit of money you greedy bastard

@@RedNitrate I just started playing this game last couple of days and I notice that when the fish gets on a very shallow water they tends to die and I can pick it up and I tried to fish as further as possible and throw the fish back and it work and I notice that when I pick the fish I also gain dead eye so I thought I should share it :)

I noticed such a difference with higher stats makes the game so much easier. I got the legend of the east satchel and that increased my dead eye and because I used a bow also my health

I accidentally stumbled on the friendly greeting to raise honor just because I thought it was funny to walk through a group of people and greet each person as fast as possible because the overlapping dialogue was funny to me, and now I use it to quickly raise my honor after I lose honor doing some stagecoach theft or looting baddies.

Im pretty late here. But i found the fastest way to be being consistent, brushing and feeding it a lot. And patting it. And during riding you can push left stick to pet it and sometimes that gives you bonding aswell. This way i managed to get 2450 horse bonding points in just 1 chapter. Better horses need that much more bonding. It was a pain

There seem to be some confusion about how to max your honor I'm hearing many players say you cannot Max your honor until chapter 6 that is not true. You can quickly Max your honor by helping random people on the road you run into doing your travel participating in stranger missions or I simply greeting people say good morning say hello go down to Saint Denis and greet everyone you run into and your honor will Max in no time.

Assuming it's the same as when I did it some time ago - John will retain the reinforced armor that was purchased and unlocked as Arthur. Whatever stats are still yet to be upgraded to level 9/10 will complete once you finish off the remaining challenges as John and buy the corresponding equipment.

As long as you complete all of the challenges and buy the corresponding reinforced equipment, you will definitely be able to max out all of your stats as John in the Epilogue.

Hmm, normally I'd say it could be something to do with the reinforced equipment, but the fact that a tonic doesn't work as it should suggests your game may be bugged. Do you have a previous save you can revert to and test it?

Maxing dead eye means level 10. Is it however really possible early game? The challenges are also dependent on your game progression.

Please don't donate to camp, if you donate $20 you only get 1 honor point. If you want to do the fishing method and you have the lowest honor possible, you need to release 100 fish to go to the absolute max even though it will take about 4 hours.

i don't understand the honor in this game. why do you get honor for releasing a fish, i get it's a good thing to do if you aren't using it. but how would anyone else see you differently because of the lack of witness? isn't the whole honor system about your reputation based on actions? how would something with 0 witness produce reputation? like i left this guy to die instead of saving him. negative honor. omfg who saw it? if it's just about personal views on oneself. then why can't i have max honor all day since i'm playing a sociopath killer with no remorse?

The final stats are a bit weird to say the least. Often the stats that are mentioned for the challenges are wrong. I forget the exact order mine maxed out at but I had similar concerns, however once I finished all the challenges and bought the last of the reinforced gear it all worked out and everything was maxed. Finish the master hunter challenge and it 'should' be all good, let me know how you go though and I can try help more if it doesnt work.

Unfortunately you have to redo Johns stats, that progress doesn't carry over from Arthur. Unlocked reinforced equipment should still remain available however.

We can keep doing chores like fill buckets of water or give hay to horses at our base camp and it will increase ur dead eye Also using the bow or throwing knives for killing enemies or animals increase the health

Yeah unfortunately because of the way the challenges are structured Arthur cant max all 3 stats, that cant be achieved until the epilogue.

Personally, if it were me, I'd do a million google searches to make sure I hadn't missed anything or to see if someone else encountered the same issue and had a fix.. but I understand that can potentially take the fun out of things.
