Alt ending I'd love to see. Like, imagine if aurthur defeated Micah and just went into hiding, learning old native american medicine from Rains Fall. Last John or Dutch saw him was that last fight; thought dead. Arthur hears of the death of Javier and Bill so he goes looking for John. He finds them at Beacher's Hope when John is fishing with Jack. The go back to the house and they have a heartfelt reunion. Just then they see the FBI coming to kill John. They post up like the real RDR ending, where they fight and Uncle is mortally wounded. The sequence goes on to where John and Arthur get Abigail and Jack to the horse. They see the Law posted up outside. John and Arthur slip out the back and split up. Taken by both sides the fight the FBI agents. It's down to Edgar Ross and a few of his last subordinates. Ross backs up now scared with John taking out the agents to his left and right. Arthur shoots Ross in the leg grounding him. But, a last surviving agent shoots Arthur in the chest, mortally wounding him. John kills the man, and runs to Arthur. Coughing up blood Arthur hands John his revolver. "Don't just stand there- *cough* Martson! Do it, for all of us." John walks up to Ross, kicking the his pistol from him as he reaches for it. "C'mon, John. You got what you wanted. Should've just been more careful what you wished for. There'll be more behind me. You won't get away alive." John bears his teeth, "this is for my family, all my family. For Dutch, for everyone else you helped in killin'. Most of all, it'a for my redemption." He shoots Ross in the face. He walks to Arthur, who is too weak to even stand. "C'mon old man, you're gonna make it." "Hell, John. You made it- *cough* you're the only one. The rest of us?.. no. Go. Lay me in the ground- *cough* go be a goddamn man. Blood's already paid for." Ends with John burying Arthur with the family, and as the harmonica rif from rdr 1's them plays, he looks up at the sunset, and the red "Red Dead Redemption" overlay goes across his face with the guitar.
