@unleasheth3 жыл бұрын
Technically, I would call it more closer to smithing than building or even assembling. U def didnt manufacture the parts, and u pretty much cant just go out and say I assembled it, without having to do atleast some modding and adjustments, just a little different on this one than your last one etc etc. nothing hardly just assembles these days without fit and finish work, if you are truly assembling the entire gun from scratch. But this same is true with mechanics, carpenters, people who even work with appliances, or in other trades. It would be nice to just read the instructions and put it together sometimes but we all know thats just not how this works for guns atleast, maybe walmart furniture lmao, and even with instructions ur prob better at not trying to understand the book but go straight to the parts to figure it out yourself. We like to fit, finish and even fix and maintain things. Cuz chances are if you are into "building" guns, u prob are good at some of the aforementioned above. I love the 12.5 platform too and guys like JBS Training and others also turned me onto them. However, I recommend doing like they do and get a better barrel, either a Criterion CORE or Hodge, maybe Centurion... not a Faxon, BA, or Rosco. If you really want a bomb proof and perfect running 12.5 that's gassed properly for all conditions, you have to start with a higher end barrel and a very good BCG that's headspaced to the barrel. Preferably an A5 buffer system too. Then you'll truly understand the hype of that "mini recce" platform. And the Rein is a good light but not great. Just a side tangent, not trying to be a dick. I like Cloud as a company but the Rein is heavy, bulky, the switch kinda sucks compared to ModButtons or Hotbuttons and the proprietary tailcap and wiring is easily breakable. The Modlites are just unbeatable for now, which sucks because I think the people who run the company at the top are douchey.

@lolshills53383 жыл бұрын
Incorrect. 12.5 was always a superior length to anything shorter, the ONLY barrel close is 13.x. 14.5 is long enough that the velocity loss isn't worth the 1.5" cut from 16, so 14.5 makes no sense. 10.5 was always a meme, and a shitty one at that. 12.5" suppressed is incredible for Home defense and urban combat, but still keeps velocity high enough for mid range combat. Of course the 20" barrel is great, but having a 26"+ barrel suppressed is just ridiculous. If you want a battle rifle, build a battle rifle, but a 12.5", especially one that's suppressed, is a do-anything platform.
