The default service role created by AWS Backup manages creating and restoring backups without working with custom roles. The default service role is called AWSBackupDefaultServiceRole. AWSBackupDefaultServiceRole contains two managed policies, AWSBackupServiceRolePolicyForBackup and AWSBackupServiceRolePolicyForRestores.

Can you please share the details for this "The end-of-life date is approaching for Amazon RDS for MySQL database instances on M4, R4, T2 instance types" Will it automatically upgrade or should we do it manually to latest version right now its version is 5.0 and I got the notification for End of its life

As per repost.aws/articles/AR_Rw2Xbe5Q9O1ZPKbU5S4Mg/amazon-rds-for-sql-server-is-ending-support-for-m4-r4-and-t2-database-instances-on-march-29-2024, AWS will automatically move the instance type to latest for the same family

You can put these 2 policies - AWSBackupServiceRolePolicyForBackup and AWSBackupServiceRolePolicyForRestores or else you can also give RDS full access policy

I am not able to see any RDS backup in the vault it says 0

While i am trying to create on-demand backup and select RDS as a resource type , i am not able to see any database name below @@InfiniteLinux
