You really looked like you want a pair of these boots. Besides that questionable heel made of paper and rubber, they look solidly built. The split welt and your great craftsmanship really elevated these to another level.

​@InGrindWeCrust2010 I have a pair of Trench boots from OSB, and yeah they have a nice wide toe box that is super comfy. Similar toe to an Iron Ranger in the same size, but I think the trench boot is a bit wider at the ball of the foot, and the IR in the same size is a little longer and taller in the toe box.

Awesome job! They look amazing! This must've been a really old run of the trench boot. I bought a pair a year ago and they improved their construction recently,I believe. I've never seen that rubber sole they used... normally it's the dainites now.

I believe Cadillac and Bick4 are made by the same company, and probably the same ingredients (or very similar). They are distributed from the same city, and very similar addresses. After my Bick4 is done, I plan to buy Cadillac. Thanks Aaron for sharing your craft and tips. The boots turned out wonderful, as always!

@@joeshmoe9233Those look like very old models, I think they’ve upgraded their materials since they first started. The issue for me is that the last is very wide compared to other boots, I have a pair that I wore twice before realizing they were way too roomy, now I’m selling them.

It wasn’t, but it’s still a nice and strong boot. (IMHO)

@@AaronG2480 I think they are really nice, it's just strange that they charge so much over Truman, Parkhurst or Grant Stone. Those companies use almost exclusively leather components including the heel counter and in some cases the toe reinforcement. I think their design is beautiful and the last looks very nice, however they leave me in doubt when the main part that actually forms to your foot is not leather. You did an awesome job as per usual. I just know I won't be purchasing oak street for myself.

the balls on this company to abuse the “made in usa” name charge 500+ and use synthetic materials, and i’m told they use celastic heel counters too
