I'm so glad you mentioned the autism diagnosis because I watched back the first video and was just laughing at how obvious in retrospect it seemed. Like, every time I've gotten a diagnosis/had a self-realisation I just look back at all the completely blatant signs and all i can do is laugh. Hindsight is 20/20 as they say, lol

I use that exact holo laminate on my stickers for Etsy! Tips for the holo, ALWAYS CUT BIGGER THAN THE ITEM YOU'RE STICKING IT TO! That holo is VERY unforgiving and once it's down, it's down for good! I tried lifting it off stickers once and it ripped the page, and where it didn't rip it stained the holo with the ink making it unusable so I don't recommend using it like you would a traditonal screentone sheet. I also use an old credit card as a squeegee to make sure it completely sticks to my stickers.

I LOVE when artists/demonstrators/teachers on yt let themselves manipulate things the way they would when actually working on the thing. It's so so so important for people to see the reality of things so they know it's ok and allowed and encouraged to move things around as you need. ☺️☺️☺️

oh my GOD i just,, as with the other rimzies videos i just have chinhands the whole time. like . seeing how much detail went into something like this, i can just *feel* kid stephs excitement and that feeling of going into hyperfocus to do things like this (i am also autistic, i have also done things similar but not to this extent) just,,, aaaaaa i love people sharing things they love or have spent lots of time on (i think i might have said that before?) it just makes me so happy

Adorable! The final cards came out looking awesome. I was always trying to do stuff like this as a kid but I wasn't quite.. ah... creative enough to put together a coherent world. Even now as an adult I wish I could be a quarter as creative as Steph!

Every time someone utters the word Rimzies, a Gnomey gets their hat! (also I squeak like a mouse person because EXCITEMENT). I had a little adoption agency (very inspired by Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends) for various little creatures and critters and I made a like yearbook thingy and floorplans and all sorts, so I can absolutely imagine how much fun Steph must've had working away at this as a kiddo, and can feel the joy radiating from this video! The holo is such a neat finishing touch!

As a fellow artist with a tremor, I totally understand. I thought I was alone in the world! In graphics class, I was taught to find the easiest way that my hand would draw on paper and turn the piece to suit, so for the few speed draws I have done I found it a challenge to keep them aligned one way.

I LOVE it when people create their own games! Years ago I was creating a card game inspired by King Lear but I never finished it. ;_; The idea was, there were going to be expansion packs based on other Shakespeare plays. I loved making the art for it all but I got stuck figuring out the rules. 😅 Every time I watch a Rimzies episode and see all the amazing planning and thought and went into it all, my Autism Radar starts going off. 😜 To be clear, I’m not hating on autistic people! I’m autistic and I think we’re amazing. I love how each autistic person has their own “thing” that they love and are experts on. Also, it’s okay if you need to rotate your paper to draw on! I remember in my very first art class in college, the teacher said it was okay. She said, “Whatever you need to do to get the drawing you want and stay comfortable, great!” EDITED TO SAY: I love all the “Special Skill” captions that were added into the video, they all made me laugh! Did Adam add those? They seem very Adam. Also, I’d be interested to know what card is everybody’s favorite? I’m def Team Dingo.
