Right... Just because it says Griffindor doesn't mean you're a Griffindor. If you don't feel like you associate with that house then you don't have to be a part of that house. The problem with the quiz is that it doesn't take into account your opinion of the houses like the sorting hat does. It's the entire reason that harry wasn't in Slytherin in the books. You should be the house you feel you most relate to. That is my Opinion.

Kaitlyn Guy I think that Neville wishes he could be in griffindor. To try and be brave like his parents and prove to his grandma that he was just as brave and strong as his dad. But he didn’t feel like he deserved it, possibly after gaining a pass To hogwarts so late and his grandma constantly comparing him to his father. So he asked to be in hufflepuff because he didn’t believe himself to be brave and chivalrous like griffindor. But the hat saw his potential and saw that he wished he could be there and so that’s how he landed there. Plus I’m pretty sure Harry wasn’t a stall, he was Almost a stall. But he didn’t quite make it. And the hat wasn’t wrong. Dumbledore even figures it out in the first book when he says “it take even greater bravery to stand up to your friends”

I can relate so much to this because the first time I did the test, I got Hufflepuff but back then, I thought Hufflepuff was the worst so I did the test again I got Ravenclaw which I wanted to get but after a while I did the test again and got Hufflepuff and accepted it. The problem with the Sorting Hat quiz on Pottermore is that you don't get every single question each time you take it, so you end up with differing results each time. What you need to do is go on google and search for the FULL QUIZ, there are a few versions on different quiz sites. They will ask you every single possible question you can get on the Pottermore quiz, that way it's more of a complete result and it takes everything into account so you don't have to do it multiple times. Pottermore kept alternating for me between Ravenclaw and Slytherin, so I took the full quiz on a different site and am now a full Ravenclaw.

I’ve always thought of myself a Ravenclaw, despite having taken the Pottermore test 3 times all years apart from one another and getting Slytherin each time. So I decided to take the full quiz...still a Slytherin! Lol 83% but 77% Ravenclaw, so it was kinda close.

This quiz is actually really inaccurate because of the amount of questions available and the weight on which question relates to which house and you should really take the quiz online that has every single available question from pottermore and then at the end it gives you percentages. It’s still written by jk Rowling but it’s way more accurate because it has all of the questions so ur not being limited. Thanks 4 coming to my ted talk.

So I decided to redo the sorting quiz too. I got Gryffindor the first time. Then proceeded to scream at my laptop for not putting me in Slytherin. So I deleted my account and did it again because I refused to accept my result. I got Gryffindor again. Proceeded to nearly smash my laptop. (Keep in mind that I deleted my original Slytherin account to do this) This continued for quite some time. By the end, I had re-did the quiz 6 times, gotten Gryffindor every time, and I now have to clean the coffee I spilled off my laptop. @@secretgaygent8205 Thats why the sorting system is broken. No, it shoudn't even exist! Imagine this, your a first year, you put the sorting hat on and it says idk "ravenclaw" or something. The sorting hat doesn't take into account personality changes. So by the end pf your school life, you fit more comfortably in say "Gryffindor"! The whole sorting system groups like minded children together, makes them compete, and if your unlucky like Slytherin, hated! It artificially divide s people in the series AND in real life!
