Thank you so much for doing & sharing all these tunes with us. None of us are ever too old to stop learning, and you’re a natural master teacher. As a fellow formally-trained & accomplished musician & arranger, what I’d give to sit down beside you & bounce some thoughts & ideas back & forth! Please keep ‘em coming and thanks for all your efforts & great work, professor!

Thanks so much.. a big help in figuring out those 11th and 13th extensions when reading a chart ..also my two faves ( Bach and Art Tatum).. I was able to get the Mantooth book on Amazon.. I like that he notates the re harms and the inside voices when applicable..great resource

Mr. Tony Winston, I really Appreciate all the time you spend in the videos. I promised my mom before she passed away that I would never give up on my music. She saw all my struggles and failures. So After 12 years of singing in choirs after she passed, I desire to sing and play the old classics. I've only tinkered around on the piano, reading a little, writing a little bit. But now I need an in depth study program. You're it. I have other people that I watch, but you make it so personal. I like that. I'm in a little financial jam that I really care of right now. Then you will see my name, Byron, B-Y Your Music Guy, pop up on your sales ledger. Thank you again for all your years of work. Side note. I have Mark Levine Jazz Book, I know that you have mentioned Frank Mantooth, but are there any other books that I can get?????? I'm looking forward to singing and playing or just being a good jazz piano accompanist. Byron

You asked... Can you figure out the "Stan Tracey" chord voicings. This wonderful english jazz pianist who I was lucky enough to see live twice whilst he was still performing in his 80s, seemed to have his own special way to voice chords that I've never heard from any other pianist. (His solos were pretty insane too)!

it might be interesting to take a standard like all of me as kind of a basic platform and show different ways that people have approached playing it -- reharm but also rhythm and melody;
