I'm getting ready to have surgery and everything I've seen says once you have the first one, there will be more. I just found your channel today and I know this is an older video, but I'm definitely binging the rest of the vids to see how it goes for you.

I'm with you! I just had my first microdiscectomy on February 12th. I've been documenting it on KZbin also recently just to keep a diary and share with others. I'm going to watch the rest of your new videos... this disc herniation thing is absolutely exhausting and so frustrating. Keep your chin up!!! Really keen to see what your surgeon thinks about your situation Best of luck

I had 2 rounds of steroid injections 2 weeks apart and I only improved about 30%. I'm scheduled for surgery next Thursday. Good luck and I hope you find relief soon.

Hi.are u ok after surgery and your pain is gone?

I had a discectomy at 16 on L3-L4 and L4-L5 from a trampoline accident. 16 years later I had a laminectomy on both again from a trampoline accedent. 10 years later and 2 weeks ago I had a laminectomy on L5-S1 due to spinal arthritis and stenosis. Delt with it for 6 months and it makes living no fun. If I was living 500 years I would probably be dead at 16 or committed suicide from the pain.

Wow they sent you home with peeing problems thats a red flag in the uk. I went in to a and e with serve pain in my buttock and numbness I had a terrible fit of sneezing the last couple of months due to hayfever every time I sneezed I got a shooting pain down my buttock.I kept forgetting to take the tablets the day my disc Prolapsed I went into a hydrotherapy pool which was about 35degrees I wondered if the heat caused my disc to finally prolapse Because didn't do anything heavy what so ever apart from sneezing .my l5 s1 disc was pressing on my nerves and they were worried it was Claude equine.they gave me an mri straight away and said i needed surgery straight away which I've had.now 4 weeks down the road no pain now but still have numbness outer thigh and buttock also on the outside of my foot which I 've never had any problems with my legs prior to my disc prolapsing also I keep getting calf pain only when pressure is applied apart from that the numbness doesn't bother me but the calf I'm hoping settles.I hope your doing a lot better.sounds like you had similar experience with snezzing to me.cheers AM

Hi how are you now I have an l4/l5 herniated disc it’s been 3 month still no better I’m only 29 and going to see a specialist soon to discuss options. So scared about surgery but not sure how much choice I’m going to have at this point.

Don't get the epidural I got them the so-called surgeon hit the herniated disc and I nearly hit the roof the pain was that sore I wanted to be shot

The shots didn't do shit for me. I had a right laminectomy at L5-S1 back in 2009 and now on April 23, 2019 I'm due for a total fusion of L4-L5 & L5-S1. I am terrified. Btw, I love your videos! You are a true inspiration! Peace! ✌
